As soap is to the body, so laughter is to the soul ♡

As Mark Twain once said :

“Humanity has unquestionably one really effective weapon – laughter.

Power, money, persuasion, supplication, persecution—these can lift at a colossal humbug, push it a little, weaken it a little, century by century, but only laughter can blow it to rags and atoms at a blast.

Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand.”

So because today means serious business with municipal #Election Day underway in South Africa, I thought I would share some of my favourite quotes on laughter.

Because yes it is important to not take life too serious at times and laugh a little!

Laughter uplifts the soul and sometimes, most times – fixes everything!

This is one of my greatest goals for Big Mouth Entertainment, to be part of something that inspires people … to make people laugh… to see people laughing at themselves, because this is how happiness grows – with laughter!

Yes we are in the business of laughter.

I love seeing people happy.  Laughter inspires me.  It’s like free happy pills!

Sometimes I try to explain it.  Sometimes I cannot talk, I just laugh.

Have a look at these awesome quotes, these clever people knew exactly how to explain it.
