Over 3 million orphans have very little opportunity to experience even the smallest of delights
a toy of their own to play with – F A C T !
In a bid to help change that, Cadbury Dairy Milk brings us ‘The Little Generosity Shop’.
The little shop will be visiting a few malls around our beautiful South Africa, with hopes to bring a whole lot of happiness to little faces around our country by collecting pre-loved toys, books and games. I agree with this initiative that the spirit of generosity exists in every one of us.
It’s the act of being kind and selfless—no matter how big or small.
This is such an important lesson to teach out little ones.
Being kind and paying forward. Helping others in need and always giving with grace and a cheerful heart.
Just a few days ago, Adam turned five.
This means gifts and gifts and gifts and more gifts.
Perfect time to teach him to pay it forward, because now with a whole lot of new toys, we might just have forgotten about the other toys, or at least some of the other toys.
This was one of the most valuable lessons I learned from my belated Grandmother, “Freely give, and so too, you will receive”
A little bit of generosity can go a long way, and often, it’s the smallest things that have the biggest impact especially to those who need a little hope.
The more we teach and foster kindness and simple little good deeds, the more we encourage the next generation of givers.
Cadbury Dairy Milk is tapping into South Africa’s boundless generosity. ‘The Little Generosity Shop’ will give the country the chance to make a difference in the lives of as many children as possible. To date they have collected 11,540 toys to spread the joy and pass on to various orphanages around South Africa.
What a beautiful lesson and to get a sweet something with it, is an even sweeter deal. Cadbury is definitely shining a bright light on good deeds and generous moments.
