Cherry Melon Mama

That moment reality kicks in and you suddenly realise your pants you are wearing is a wee bit too tight…
That moment you realise the belly is undergoing a transformation…
It’s time to check your options in the maternity section.

With my first pregnancy I wore my clothing well pass 28 weeks before I had to visit the maternity section.  This time round, 6 weeks in and I needed to make a plan.  Things were moving fast and this baby bump was in a “tight space”.  From what I have read, most Moms start showing at 16 weeks,  I realised, I am not that Mom, she is not me!

So imagine my heart when Cherry Melon sent over some of their most gorgeous Summer 2019/2020 range items.
I ugly cried because the timing was so perfect.
I had purchased a few tops on sale as a start and so when I received the additional items, my cup was now running over.
I am feeling so confident and most comfortable with pregnancy number 2.
The Cherry Melon fabrics are amazing.
The colours are fabulous.
And items are fab because not only will they see you through a wonderfully chic and comfortable pregnancy, but also beyond once baby arrives.
Their breastfeeding friendly tops are the best!
It really is an investment with it’s duel purpose wear for during pregnancy and also postpartum.
I thought I’d list my absolute fave items for you below…

OVERLAY FEEDING TOP – STRIPES

A bestseller!
This comfy, casual top works for both pregnancy and feeding.
This style is specifically designed to assist in making feeding easy and discreet with an under-layer and opening.

The EVERYDAY TOP:

Great and comfy and can be worn on it’s own, or layered under a kimono, a denim jackets or cardigan.
They are long enough to rock with a pair of leggings, a pair of jeans or even a skirt!

BELTED EVERYDAY DRESS:

A fabulous and easy work-to-weekend must-have.
It is indeed my absolute fave.
They can be dressed down with sneakers and a denim jacket or up with a heel and kimono (or pop-of-colour jewellery).
You can rock this dress to beach, work, lunch, and even date night.
Excellent quality fabric, super soft with Viscose/Elastane.

The WRAP TOP:

Can be dressed up or down and will take you seamlessly from casual, to work, to date-night and more.
BONUS: it’s feeding-friendly!

The CROSSOVER DRESS:

Functional and stylish.
Simple and made in a woven Rayon Viscose fabric with a cool touch, perfect for those warm summer days.
I love the floral print of this mint wrap around dress.

THE OVERLAY FEEDING DRESS:

The Summer range included a short sleeve dress perfect for maternity wear and also breastfeeding once baby is here, with an opening in the under layer for discreet feeding and the fabric is soft knit-like, giving you great comfort too.

Cherry Melon recommends when choosing your size, you stick to your pre-pregnant size as they cater for all the growth during your pregnancy.
I can testify that this is true.  I had zero problems with the sizes.  Don’t laugh, but I ended up wearing some of my Cherry Melon maternity clothes way pass Adam’s birth and even before I found out we were having another baby.

Although we don’t have an outlet store in Port Elizabeth, you can easily buy online. I’d recommend that you sign up for their newsletter, so you can receive updates on promotions and new collections.

BONUS – You will be the first to know about their SALE items too.

Being comfortable and stylish during my pregnancy really made the worlds difference.  I felt confident and still do.  Great styles, amazing quality, practical, fabulous fabrics and colours, all with Mom-To-Be in  mind!

  4. One thing I would really like to say is that often before purchasing more computer system memory, consider the machine in to which it can be installed. Should the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the memory limit is 3.25GB. The installation of a lot more than this would basically constitute any waste. Make sure one’s mother board can handle your upgrade amount, as well. Interesting blog post.

  5. I would also like to add if you do not already have got an insurance policy or else you do not form part of any group insurance, chances are you’ll well gain from seeking the assistance of a health insurance broker. Self-employed or people with medical conditions ordinarily seek the help of the health insurance brokerage. Thanks for your post.
