Tots & Things: Foodie fun with Bloomingtots

Show me a tot who doesn’t need some sort of magic to accompany their food so they can eat…

Show me a tot or two who needs encouragement when it comes to eating healthy…

Show me a tot who doesn’t love some sweet cakes…

Show me a Mom who has given up with a tricky picky little eater…

I have a simple solution – Blooming Tots! A PE based home business making sure kids get what they need even if it means being sneaky.

As a mom you want what’s best for your kid.  You want to know that you have fed your kiddo well, and not just the 2 minute noodles kinda well, because they really like it and hey, they get in some fiber.  You want to give your little one a wholseome and nutritional meal.

But life…

Work and home we can juggle but meals should not be compromised.  It’s enough that we do it as adults hey!  Don’t tell me you have never eaten “on-the-go”…

I have! I do!  In fact almost every day… Go ahead and be judge-A-rag!

Back to my solution…

B L O O M I N G – T O T S

Imagine  spending hours to create the perfect flavour, finding ideas to put together the best kinds balanced meals and making sure that the meals are made up to go into the freezer, so you have meals sorted for your tot for weeks ahead… Imagine!

Well, there is a Mommy who does exactly that.

Supper for your little one is sorted…

She preps.

She cooks.

She packages.

Then all you do is, place your order (on time) and pay then collect and freeze.

Supper for your little one is sorted!  And not just any kinda supper or meal, but the kind that leaves a 3 year old’s dish clear.

With 8 meals on the menu and you get to choose any 5 of the meals to add to your pack for R160.

That’s 5 delicious meals for R160.

Prepacked and ready for the oven, Mommy Rehanna cooks with lean meat and free-range chicken, only uses extra virgin olive, Coconut oil and pure butter to prepare the meals and all ingredients used are of the finest quality.

She knows just how much magic to add to each meal.  She sneaks in cauliflower and butternut puree into the mac & cheese, I mean who even thinks of that?!  I am still over here trying to come up with meal ideas, being married for almost 5 years has not been enough practice and Rehanna over there is sneaking things into things that makes food more tasty!

We tried out the free range chicken casserole packed with veggies.
Flavourful leeks, peas and butternut served with brown rice.  Yummy!  Adam’s favourite.

He also enjoyed the chicken, lentil and butternut Curry.
With a good source of protein and iron to this mild flavourful curry, this meal is a combination of tenderly cooked chicken pieces, lentils and butternut squash, striking a perfect balance between sweet and light spice your toddler will love!

The spaghetti and meatballs in a cinnamon butternut tomato gravy was also a hit.

The chicken, spinach and sweet pepper lasagne is also very popular
This lasagne is packed with wholesome goodness with the richness of iron from spinach, and vitamin A,C and folate from red Peppers.

The meals are marked and labeled perfectly clear with the list of ingredients used and cooking instructions.

Have a look at the Blooming Tots FB Page and stay updated with all the goodies Rehanna mixes up in her kitchen.

She was awesome enough to share one of her recipes with us – thanks Rehanna!

Until next time…

  3. Grate the apples using large holes in grater. Add the grated apples to the batter then lightly fold in the egg white.
  4. Heat a large non-stick frying pan with a drop of oil and place 1-2 tablespoons of batter in the pan on low heat. When the bubbles appear, turn the flapjacks over and allow to cook until both sides are done.
